Our SunSetter awning is now installed and working perfectly. The order process, delivery and final product all met expectations. Our only disappointment was the fact that we were charged a $50 delivery fee. All Wayfair ads stress free delivery and yet we were charged $50. What’s up with that. Would be 100% satisfied with our Wayfair experience if the $50 is refunded to conform with advertising. . Anonymous. Key West, FL. Mon Aug 31 2020

Great addition and definitely helps with the sun! Great product and quality. Edwin. Shapleigh, ME. Thu Apr 02 2026

The installed SunSetter, as of last night, works just fine. I like the upgrades since I bought the first one nearly fifteen years ago. Get the motor. Get the remote. Maybe even the wind sensor? I didn't get that. Always be mindful of the wind. My SunSetter is part of why my house is my home. I thought that sounded more mature than writing, I love my SunSetter. BTW: I chose the Sunbrella fabric. I didn't want to skimp on the awning.. Jonathan. US. Mon Apr 15 2024

Solar shades block exposure to the sun's heat and UV rays while imparting an unfussy style to your space. This outdoor shade is a perfect pick for pergolas, patios, and other structures, featuring a PVC construction that makes it semi-sheer, so you can enjoy the beauty of the outdoors without the glare. A cordless cable guide system rolls this design up and down with the touch of a button, while an aluminum valance protects it when not in use. Plus, it includes a two-year hardware warranty and a five-year motor and fabric warranty. IMPORTANT: This motorized shade series features a plug-in motor. The 10' AC plug-in cord MUST be plugged in to operate the shade. The cord is located on the right side of the shade.

As an avid DIYer, I know the difference between good and bad products. This motorized blind is high quality. Everything from the fabric and housing quality to the ease of installation make this a great choice. Unfortunately, our primary reason for purchasing this was for privacy in the evening, as our deck opens up to community courts and gathering space. As it’s getting dark in the evening, and the lights are on in our kitchenfamily room, you can see everything in our home almost as clearly as if the shade were not in place. Also, my home is fully automated with Alexa control. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes. As a result, I can’t figure out a way to automate this blind without using SwitchBot bots.. Kevin. Denver. Thu Apr 30 2026

Outsmart the weather with Aleko Motorized Retraction Slope Patio Awning. This awning delivers the perfect amount of shade for your patio or balcony, and efficiently protects your home or business from sun damage or light rain. Built with a sleek black frame, this modern design shows less dirt and debris than more common white frames. The fabric offers up to 160 square feet of coverage and is made from 100% polyester to best protect you from the elements and keep the inside of your home cool on hot days. Included is an electric motor that easily opens or closes the awning within a minute. For economical purposes or in the case of no electricity, a simple hand crank is provided for manual retraction of the awning.

This a great awning at this price point, even my electrician son was impressed as he he was expecting troubles. To be fair, it is not easy to install. It took three adult men on ladders to put it up and a great deal of finagling before that. Also, the motor came preassembled so we had no choice about which side it was on which meant extension cords.. Karla. Stafford Springs, CT. Sat Jun 27 2026

Love this sun shade! It was the perfect size for my space and easy enough to install (or have my friend install for me). It provides great protection from the sun and heat and makes my front porch more comfortable during the hot summer months. The sun sets on the side of my porch making the late afternoons very hot on the porch. No more now that I have this sun shade! I also love that I'm able to see through it somewhat so I can still see the pond and trees and enjoy nature.. Martha. Mountain View, AR. Wed Jul 01 2026
