I paid someone to put it together because I needed modifications to make it fit. We had to raise it up a lot due to the height of my slider and cut to go around trim. We are very happy with the finished gazebo—it looks great and really elevates the space. Installation was straightforward overall. It does take some time, but the process isn’t overly complicated if you’re patient and organized. A couple of helpful notes from our experience since we installed this near a chlorinated pool, we chose to use stainless steel anchors instead of the ones provided for better long-term durability. Also, measuring for anchor placement requires precision—there’s very little room for error. What worked well for us was assembling the top rail (the horizontal support connecting the three vertical posts) first, then standing the structure upright. This allowed us to accurately mark all 12 anchor holes before drilling. We did run into a manufacturing issue after unboxing (not related to shipping), but customer service was excellent. The replacement process was smooth and handled quickly, which we really appreciated. Overall, we’re very pleased with the final product—both in function and aesthetics. Love it, my son in law put it up. It was larger than what I thought which was a great thing. Good quality, great product. Great material, strong, well made. Stood up to a mid west winter and nasty winds. Now the neighbors on the hill behind us cant see on our patio doors any more and it keeps the hot sun out of the house. Arrived good timing! From what we can see its very good. Still waiting a for the next few weeks to fully put it together! But friends of ours has tbis exact one and we loved it, especially the rain guards to help the rain to go thr sides instead of straight down.
