The chest looks nice. The quality is good. However, the drawers only pull out about half way. Very weird. I thought about returning it but I can make it work. I read the reviews about the drawer problem but still ordered it because I liked it (I don't always trust the reviews). Also, in the product description the drawer dimensions are not listed. I love my new trunk aesthetically, I love the details and colors. The leather is genuine and the metal fasteners look and feel like quality. However, Functionally I’m disappointed. The trunk arrived with the lid offset- I cannot actually close the latch because of the almost 1/2 inch gap in setback on the one side. I work on craft projects in my dining room, but wanted to be able to put all of my paraphernalia away during the day. It’s got room for everything yet looks intentionally decorative ! I would also be a happier with the drawer glides being metal instead of wood for the money it cost , but I suppose they weren’t thinking of these drawers being used daily like I’m doing. The trunk is as it looks. Hinges seem strong but even if they weren't, the wood is so light that it wouldn't hurt fingers. If you are looking for a solid piece of furniture, this isn't it.
