A classic among squirrel proof feeders, this has ports that close under a squirrels weight, preventing the squirrel from raiding the seed supply. This Squirrel-Be-Gone Wild Bird Metal Tube Bird Feeder features 6 feeding ports and a u-shaped perche. The feeding ports have sturdy metal perches that allow birds to feed comfortably but, when the squirrels perch on them, their weight causes the entire metal casing to slip down, completely blocking the feeding ports and their access to the seed. The interior seed tower is surrounded by rustic metalwork. The 6 perch or feeding station set up, coupled with the anti-squirrel technology makes this feeder of the most economical and convenient squirrel proof feeders on the market.

So easy to fill and care for I spend hours watching the birds come to feed. Debra. US. Sat May 07 2022

A clear tube, six perches and metal where the weather hits. This Backyard Expressions tube feeder keeps a good supply of seed behind a thick, sturdy clear wall, so you can tell from the house when it is time to top it off. Six feeding ports are staggered on three levels, each with its own perch, giving goldfinches, house finches, chickadees, titmice and nuthatches room to feed at the same time. The lid, base and ports are aluminum with a deep green finish, which keeps the feeder light to lift down and hang back up. Inside the base, a raised cone guides seed toward the bottom ports, so less of it sits unused at the bottom of the tube. Filling takes a moment: slide the lid up the hanger, pour, and let it settle back into place. It takes most seeds that fit the ports, from black oil sunflower and sunflower chips to songbird mixes. At about 16.5 inches tall and slim through the middle, it hangs from a shepherd's hook next to other feeders, under an eave or from a sturdy branch. The wire hanger is included; the hook and seed are not. It makes an easy gift for anyone who likes to watch the yard from a favorite window.
