I ordered the slate gray and they are definitely not gray if you're really looking for that color. They are a nice color of pale blue (see photos) and the sheets are soft and appear to be good quality. They had a strong odor upon opening the box but once washed they are fine. This is a really nice quality sheet set. They are heavy and good for cold nights. The sheets fit perfectly on the Queen size bed with no struggle to get it on.
