We have a "Florida basement" storage room in our modern organic coastal home that needed a light. This was perfect, nice (not cheap) quality and a little fun. When lit, the warm brown weave creates a neat little pattern across the ceiling. As some have mentioned, you will need to be directly under the fan to feel it but it does move air surprisingly well. This is perfect for us because I sometimes hang wet clothes on a drying rack or do some ironing in the center of the room. this is such a beautiful fan. it made such a design difference in the nursery. it was very easy for my husband to install. it is lightweight and you can tell it is very good quality. the light changes color temperature and is dimmable which was a huge plus for us, and the fan really throws air even on the lowest speed..
