Pyrex is a household favorite and we were excited to see they’ve expanded into dry food storage. These glass canisters come in a good variety of sizes and store food safely. They wash well, but they are glass, so definitely more delicate than your typical plastic containers. Mason jars, or canning jars are great for canning fruits and other perishables, pickling, and for plating artisanal drinks. These jars are freezer safe for eighteen months! They are also BPA free. The sturdy glass material will last through season after season of canning. There are various easy methods of sealing these jars, such as with wax, a vacuum pack, or a water bath.
