I recieved my cedar chest and took one look at the box and was afraid to open. But all i saw was a dent on the top of the front. With that i went ahead and put together. No big problems. Just follow directions. It had to have been wrapped for shipment very well to have just sustained only that damage. The whole thing is not made by using 100% solid cedar or price would be much higher. But i wanted to store blankets i crochet and wollen sweaters and things of that. Cedar helps to keep bugs that love wool away. I had a beautiful light blue sweather that wasnt stored in cedar and i regretted because moth got to it and ate hole right in front. So after putting together just rubbed a little original cedarcide inside. I went on and notified wayfair about the picture of torn up box and picture of dent. Was contacted right then. Talk about fast. He asked for email and order number so he could see what the problem was. I didnt want new one just a few parts that were broken in bag and 1 missig. Great person to talk to. Its hard to find stores that stand behind their products and feedback like that. Thank you to Wayfair and the people who respect not only good feedback but about a probleem you encoutered.. Debra. The dresser looks great and works for the space I needed it. It wasn’t difficult to assemble but it did take me a few hours. The color is a true navy. I gave it only four stars because I wish the dresser was a bit sturdier. I’m using it in a spare room so it will work just fine. Great price for the product.. Jennifer. Butler, PA. Sat Jul 25 2026

This solid wood storage trunk brings a clean silhouette and functional storage to your space. It's crafted from solid wood with exposed grain and natural variation for added depth, and it rests on metal legs for an elevated profile. The hinged top opens to reveal a spacious interior compartment that helps keep clutter tucked away. An ideal accent for your entry or living area, it offers a versatile surface for display. Plus, the lift-top design keeps your household essentials neatly organized and out of sight.

The trunk is a beautiful piece of sturdy solid wood. I purchased it because it has the black metal legs and front handle that complements my current industrial bedroom furniture. Only four stars because it arrived damaged in two places. One at the left hinge attachment to the wood trunk, the other is a split in the wood on the right side of the trunk where the leg attaches. We were able to nail the wooden block into place to attach the metal leg securely and hopefully prevent further splintering. The quality control needs to be in place for both the preparation of the furniture for shipment AND ensuring the shipper HANDLES THE FURNITURE WITH CARE DURING SHIPMENT. The estimated delivery date was spot on. Generally, happy with my purchase but will be monitoring the damage for a replacement trunk, if needed.. Tg. Silver Spring, MD. Sat Aug 22 2026
