The distiller works beautifully. One really must read the WHOLE set of instructions before starting. Some important pre-startup details about pre-cleaning are buried in the narrative. But the instruction booklet was produced by the internationally based manufacturer, not Wayfair. My first carafe of water was a success, I’ve been using it in various ways. I forgot how great a cup of coffee tastes when made with chemical-mineral-free water. Love it.. Rose. Thunder Bay, ON. Mon Jun 09 2025

Loving it so far. It's better to clutter the countertop than search for DW all over town and pay up to $2 a gallon. Not to mention the microplastics from those jugs. We use this for spouse's CPAP machine. It was getting harder and harder to find distilled water for delivery at a reasonable price. Gallon bottles of water are heavy and bulky, and having to purchase H2O when I live on Lake Michigan was ludicrous. Did the initial cleaning and distilling the first batch now. I did not wait for it to cool before rinsing; I used potholders.. Carol In South Shore. Chicago Il. Fri Jul 10 2026

1. Rapid Cooling: The distillery kit adopts an open cooling method. The copper coil has rapid thermal conductivity and has a large contact area with the coolant, providing a lower distillation temperature. A circulating water pump is attached to save cooling water. The rubber pad under the condenser can insulate and accelerate cooling. 2. Sufficient Capacity: This alcohol still provides you with a fermentation capacity of 3 gallons. Boiler barrel: 9.8" x 9.8" (25 x 25 cm), condenser: 7.9" x 4.3" (20 x 11 cm), thumper keg: 7" x 4" (18 x 10 cm), which can ferment up to 11.4 liters of raw materials. Perfect for family-together parties. All parts are made of food-grade materials, including silicone, stainless steel, and copper. 3. Four buckles and silicone gaskets inside the lid help to seal tightly. In addition, the package has a one-way exhaust valve, which can be easily used during the fermentation process. 4. Easy to Operate: The alcohol still kit has a real-time thermometer on the lid, with a dual-display of Celsius and Fahrenheit, which is convenient for monitoring the temperature of the wine during the distillation process. You can put spices in the thumper keg to add flavors to your alcohol, improving its taste to your satisfaction without the professional flavoring technology. 5. Versatile Application: There are many ways to use the alcohol still kit. According to your preferences, you can make Whiskey, Wine, Brandy, Rum, Tequila, Vodka, Water Distiller, Ethanol, Essential Oils, etc. The thickened bottom allows various heating methods, including gas stoves, firewood, electric ceramic heaters, etc.

I bought this to distill water. Not the intended primary use, but within what it is supposed to do. The setup in complicated, but understandably so, compared to the other water distiller products Vevor has. The instructions were pretty bare bones. I was able to set it up primarily by referencing the pictures. It is fun to operate as a hobby, though, since you can see the function of all the parts, and it takes some watching and fiddling while it is operating.. Tad. Thu Feb 23 2023
