Dresser is great and was easy to put together all by myself. It did take a little longer than the 30 minutes the instructions said but probably could have been done if I had a second person. It had 1,000 pieces and 1,000 steps to put it together, but it was pretty easy - just time consuming. It’s quite sturdy feeling and looks great. My only complaint is that the locking mechanism that keeps only one drawer open at a time is kind of loud and clanky. We are so happy with this dresser and changing table! It’s one of those nursery pieces that is both beautiful and incredibly practical, and I love that it’s designed to grow with your child rather than being something you’ll only use for a short period of time. The changing topper is such a convenient feature. Having the changing area securely positioned right on top of the dresser makes everything so much easier and keeps all of the baby essentials within easy reach. It saves space in the nursery while still giving us a dedicated changing station, which is especially helpful when you’re trying to make the most of the room. One of my favourite things about this dresser is that the changing topper is removable. Once our baby outgrows the changing stage, we can simply take it off and continue using the piece as a beautiful dresser. I really appreciate not having to buy an entirely separate changing table that we’ll eventually stop using. It feels like a much more practical long-term investment because the dresser can transition with our child. The Hazelnut finish is beautiful and looks even nicer in person. It has a warm, classic look that works so well in a nursery without feeling overly “babyish,” so I can easily see us continuing to use it for years as our child grows. The overall design feels simple, timeless, and very well made. The drawers are another highlight. They feel sturdy and smooth, and I really like the safety interlocking drawer design, because it helps prevent multiple floors from being opened at the same time. Having that added safety feature gives us peace of mind, especially as our baby eventually becomes a toddler and starts exploring everything.
