I was slightly disappointed to realize that the drawers aren't completely wood - they're a particle board type material that felt very cheap when putting it together, but after being put together, it doesn't look terrible. However, if you're expecting a fully wooden dresser this is not the one for you! That being said, assembly was easy and straightforward - no dowel rods and all hardware included! I assembled a couple of steps the wrong way, but even though I realized this very late in the process, I was able to correct my error without having to take the entire thing apart.
