There is also not a smell so I feel good about using for storage immediately. Likewise, this is pretty lightweight so you can move to a lot of places and the compact size will fit well in various spaces. I recommend as a cute storage piece. Just to note, I ordered this 3 times before it was actually delivered. I love these ottoman. I had previously bought two on a beautiful aqua for a house I design, and these two I got for a house in Miami. They are a soft grey with just a drop of brown in them- very modern color. They toned beautifully with Benjamin Moore paint in edgewater grey.
