The shed arrived packaged in two big bundles and was delivered down two dirt roads to gravel driveway. Great delivery service ! My carpenter neighbor put the building together on piers. However he reinforced the floor with additional two by fours. The building was a good value with the windows. This building is my she-shed for my Mtn getaways. I love to camp and becoming intolerant to inconsiderate, loud, and drunk neighbors in next site. We purchased primitive lot in NC foothillmtn years ago. Unable to afford a second house here, my she shed will be my camping getaway site. No close site neighbors. Plenty of storage space on the shelf inside as well. I took a while to write this because it took us six months to find a contractor to put it together! Everyone is busy during peak contractor season. The finished product is amazing. It's a great deal and an amazing shed with lots of storage. Very stylish. I think our contractor had to buy paint, roof shingles and a couple of extra pieces of plywood. I will give you the breakdown, it took a licensed builder a full week to put it together but it's done right. Just to let you know if you are a DIY it will probably take three times that. WORTH IT. I was impressed with the quality of the materials and the instructions were pretty clear. I put mine on top of of a concrete pad. Also did a row of cinder blocks, which required a little customizing where the door fit in the wall. This cedar shed is perfect as an additional bunk house/office for our vacation/remote work location. My contractor, who assembled it had a few issues as the directions are pretty basic. So pay attention to part numbers as the illustrated plans indicate what goes where. It arrives on two pallets with wall panels that already have the siding attached and roof panels already shingled. He bought pressure treated 2x4s and better plywood for the base/floor since the cabin didn't come with all the pieces of flooring needed (super annoying) and making 6 or 8 joist boxes is kinda silly but due to fitting everything on pallets, that's necessary from a manufacturing standpoint. So we improvised. In these photos, we had painted the floor already, preparing for laying the final flooring. We will be insulating and adding a nice whitewashed paneling for the interior walls. We may run an extension cord out there or actually run power properly. Not sure yet. My contractor billed me 30 hours for assembly and he worked alone. Great shed! Well the shed is great but the team sent out to install it were not even familiar with how to put together a shed. They said that they don't even get told what they're going to build just to bring tools and show up somewhere. I was very disappointed. They didn't even get to finish that day but I didn't want them to come back because they wouldn't be paid to come back an extra day. This shed is nice! It’s not what I expected but so far it’s been good. It is very windy where we live and so far the shed has been super sturdy. It is resin and has channels. Not sure how the floor will hold up, but the walls once assembled seem great. Assembly is a lot of prep and it takes 2-3 people. Comes in pretty heavy boxes so be prepared. This recliner came really fast. It comes in one huge box and there’s minimal assembly. You put the back on and push into place. There’s 2 side pieces that go on the back as well. Then you screw the handle on. They give you an Allen key to screw the handle on and it’s big and awkward and very frustrating to do. I just used my little hand drill. The leather is a true chocolate, brown, glossy soft and supple beautifully made aesthetically pleasing looks very modernized and the silver long handle complements it. The back is very thick and flush, which is nice. I am 5ft 4 and I have a ton of room on this chair in my feet. Don’t even touch the ground. The only thing that I don’t like is how low the handle is again I’m small and petite and I can barely reach the handle. I have to lean over the chair. Other than that, I have no issues. It came in 3 boxes that are able to fit into a larger SUV for transport. The materials are attractive colors and true to the photo. It’s really nice there is a window for natural light and venting. That is a big one for me and why I chose this model. The double doors are ample in width. Plan 4 days for assembly mostly alone. 1 day to build a base. 1 day for preassembly of walls (4 hours). 2 days for final assembly. There are no predrilled holes, which is necessary with this type of soft material. Some of the panels don’t exactly line up in preassembly, but the millimeters don’t matter. The instructions are alright. Not great but doable. The part numbers are crazy long and confusing and could be labeled much better. You really need a tape measure with centimeters. I didn’t so I had to convert everything and mark my tape. I did drop a light item on a panel and it easily dented. Think of this material as the blue tote bins you’d buy and not as strong as the black and yellow tote bin plastic at major retailers. A base has to be built. Budget almost half the price of this shed for your base if you use pressure treated wood. This will NOT work without a sturdy base being prebuilt (pavers or wood). You will need a level, metal drill bit, good power screw driver, speed square is helpful, tape measure in centimeters, magnifying glass if you cannot see well up close to see instruction detail, patience and beverages. I am a little concerned about snow load, but we will see how it fares in winter. It’s more flimsy than other sheds, but the price does reflect that, so it’ll work for me.. Megan. Meridian, ID. The exterior walls are so thin that I would never recommend stapling a vapor barrier on the interior because the Staples come through on the outside even if they are very short. Incredible Shed – Spacious, Sturdy, and Worth It! I purchased the larger version of this shed (84 H x 120 W x 196 D), and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! It’s massive—almost like a mini storage unit—and extremely spacious inside. One of my favorite features is the four windows, which let in so much natural light. It feels open and bright during the day. Assembly Experience The instructions were mostly clear, but I did run into one confusing section involving the middle ceiling beam—specifically parts 13, 13A, and 14. The diagram in that section wasn’t very detailed, so it took a bit of trial and error to figure out the correct orientation. Once past that hiccup, the rest of the assembly was straightforward, though time-consuming. Helpful Tip to Save Time One big piece of advice I want to share Before you start building (especially on Day 2), sit down and prep the F2 screws. This is the largest group of screws, and most of them require washers—except in some areas like the main foundation. The washers come in a sheet that you have to separate manually, which is tedious. I did this ahead of time inside the house, and it saved a ton of time during assembly. Trust me, this step alone made a huge difference! Build Time Foundation Choice It took two of us two full days to complete the build. I highly recommend building it on a non-windy day, as the walls and roof panels are large and lightweight until fully secured. Also, I opted for a cement foundation instead of a wooden one (our old shed had wood, which eventually rotted). The cement base made the entire structure feel much sturdier and more permanent. Lastly, the instructions note that if you need to stop mid-build, do so after installing the middle ceiling beam for structural stability. That advice was spot on. Final Thoughts Overall, this shed is fantastic—sturdy, attractive, and incredibly roomy. I’m thrilled with my purchase, and with a little prep and patience, the build is absolutely worth it!. Rick. Do not buy this shed. I kept being told a delivery date then when that day arrived the shipment was pushed back. Three times that happened. Then it finally arrived and I cannot give a full review of it because upon putting it together we discovered that pieces were missing. When contacting customer service I was told that the only solution was to contact a company in China, which I know am guessing that is the manufacturer and if I would have known that up front I never would have purchased it. Shame on Wayfair for keeping that info hidden at the time of purchase. So I now have an incomplete shed and have no way of knowing of this Chinese company will be helpful or not.
