Arrived in good conditiion. All parts were there. I put it together all by myself. It was a little awkward getting the last side on. Suggest you put some of the cardboard under the back, once you slide it in, so that it stays in the tracks. Also, have a soft headed sledge hammer handy to help pound the wooden pegs in place. Putting the last side on called for some strength I don't have, but a piece of cardboard and the soft sledge-hammer did the trick. The cardboard is to protect the wood from the hammer.. Monte. This is one beautiful piece of furniture. It’s high quality and as exactly as described…. I love the modern farmhouse look and this worked perfectly in our space. I have seen a couple of reviews about the color. This is true to the image posted but will add that the lighting can also cause variations in light from cool to warm. I love both!! My husband and I downsized so the extra storage was a bonus. I have six sets of king size sheets and 4 throws, two small pillows and space for a little more. The white cushion is very attractive I did however add some scotch guard to help keep dust and stains at stray. I think a damp white cloth could be used. It’s comfortable to sit on and the width and height are perfect for both my husband and I. I am 5’8 and he is 6’2 so this was another thing that attracted us to this bench. It has some weight to it which we prefer. Assembly was a breeze due to only having to add the feet..
