Looks great, sturdy, but overengineered in some places while underengineered in others. The good part: 1) Looks great 2) Lots of storage space 3) Can move shelves around to create bigger/smaller spaces The bad: 1) Assembly took forever. I don't understand why you need three screws for each hinge door and then three additional screws to attach to the side panel for EACH hinge. Two is the standard for a reason. 2) Don't understand why most of the screws are black, the door stoppers are brown, and the magnets and door screws are silver. The instructions were difficult to read, the print is very tiny and written in gray. Upon receiving my purchase I found a damaged area on the side of one of the pieces right side. Overall this is a great piece. Instructions are good, build time is not bad at all and only takes one person for 98% of it. Well packaged. Once built, it's quite sturdy. The wood tone is sharp, great contrast to the black. The gold handles miss the mark. The gold is incredibly bright and brassy yellow, dated. If they had gone with a softer tone of gold this piece would've been better. But it's an easy fix. The doors aren't the easiest to open and close, they feel a little cheap, and a few pieces of the hardware came broken (cheap quality). We didn't install the clothing bar, we have other plans for use of this piece. Overall a it's a pretty good value and a piece I'd recommend for a cheap yet functional and fairly stylish option.. Very nice armoire. We ordered the black. Should fit a 50" diagonal TV nicely. Replaced an older, taller and deeper entertainment armoire in our family room.
