I got the limestone version of this fountain, and it looks absolutely perfect where I have it. It fits the Italian aesthetic of my home and backyard beautifully, and the limestone was definitely the right choice. One thing to be aware of is the sound. The water drops about two feet, so it produces a fairly loud "faucet running" sound. That's inherent in the design, and I'm looking at some simple ways to soften it a bit, possibly with a small rain chain. Other than that, I couldn't be happier with how it looks. I also retrofitted a light into the basin, attaching it to the underside of the upper splash palette with cement adhesive. I ran the light cable out through the rear silicone plug alongside the pump cable, and it worked beautifully. Everything is nicely watertight and the light really adds to the fountain at night. One suggestion if you do something similar: I'd use a little silicone sealant around the cables where they pass through the plug. It's an easy extra precaution to make sure you maintain a watertight seal. My only real complaint is the absolutely insane amount of packing material. I certainly appreciate that the fountain arrived in pristine condition, but the shipping container was probably three times the size of the fountain itself. When it arrived, I actually thought I'd ordered the wrong fountain. It was so enormous that the guys helping me move it were making fun of me for buying such a ridiculously oversized fountain. Opening it up and discovering that it was, in fact, the fountain I'd ordered was a great surprise. Cleaning up afterward was not. There were four wooden pallets, packing hay everywhere, additional concrete packing material, and a mountain of plastic wrap. It took me about half a day to clean everything up, and I eventually had to get a city crew to haul away the remaining packaging. That said, the packing clearly did its job. The fountain arrived in perfect condition, it looks fantastic, and I'd absolutely buy it again. Five stars for the fountain. Maybe three stars for the adventure of unpacking it.. Robert. Oakland, CA. Bring traditional style and a relaxed atmosphere to your garden or patio! Designed with an old-world appeal, this product evokes the feeling of being in a Tuscan courtyard! Water bubbles up from the top finial and then pours from multiple spouts in the small bowl down into the basin below, creating a lovely sound and a beautiful visual statement!

Works and looks like I hoped! We purchased the forest brown color. Assembly took two people to place the bottom bowl and fed the pump cord through the bottom. I did need to cut the tubing to the pump because of kinking. I have it on a timer. No birds have visited it yet, that I’ve seen. We are in Arizona. We love it!. Leslie. Brier, WA. Tue Oct 27 2026

All Giannini fountains are handcrafted of high strength cast-stone, which is like concrete but with a higher compressive and flexural strength. The fountain is great. But the delivery was subpar. The fountain is extremely heavy and the delivery guys wouldn't bring it to the backyard, they just left it in the driveway. So I had to hire a landscaper with a Bobcat and crew to bring it to the backyard and put it in place.. Anonymous. Thu May 14 2026
