Stunning table, but requires a project to make it safe at least for me! This table looks amazing and the top is much more durable than standard tile. It does feel like tile, but it is not. However, the manufacturer’s support board stops 6 inches short of the edge. This leaves the rim vulnerable to cracking if someone leans on it to stand up. Because of this design flaw, I had to source a massive sheet of 3/4-inch plywood, get it delivered, and have it custom-cut into a perfect 58-inch circle to replace the factory piece. Aside from this installation hassle that can lead to injuries the leg is well-supported and the table is beautiful. Dimensions are spot on, definitely can fit 8, comfortably 6 chairs around.. I’m really happy with this dining table overall. The first thing that stands out is the solid wood base- it’s extremely sturdy, well-built, and has a premium feel. You can immediately tell it’s made with quality materials, and the craftsmanship is excellent. A really nice bonus is that the base includes hidden storage, which is a thoughtful touch and perfect for keeping placemats, table linens, or other dining essentials neatly tucked away. The sintered stone tabletop is another highlight. It’s absolutely beautiful, has a luxurious look, and feels very durable. It’s easy to clean and gives the table a modern, high-end appearance that really elevates the dining room. My only disappointment is that the tabletop is not a single slab. I overlooked that detail when I purchased it, and while it still looks great and functions perfectly, I think a one-piece sintered stone top would have made this table even more stunning and seamless. Overall, despite that one drawback, I’m very pleased with the purchase. The quality, solid construction, hidden storage, and elegant design make it an excellent value, and it has become the centerpiece of our dining room. Table is heavy! But seems good quality- I like the base a lot, the metal stainless steal came dented but Wayfair did a great job sending replacement and it arrived quickly.
