This is a fantastic fire pit and a really great value. I saw similar styles for $1000 and feel the look and function of this one is very similar and just as good. The tank cover is a nice addition and also serves as a side table. Set up was quick and easy. It gives off a good amount of heat. The color says black but I would call it more slate which I really like. The cover for the flame area is also a nice feature as you can then use it as a table. Very cheaply made. It's not wood nor is it marble, it is a cast of plaster and fiberbond. The paint job was poor and you could tell it was fake, not to mention the poor craftsmanship. The wood section wast not completely painted brown to the edge. Not worth the price. Its also small and has almost no area to set drinks. I have to say that I am absolutely in love with this fire pit and the table that hides the propane tank. It is well-made and absolutely stunning. It does produce quite a bit of heat even in open areas. The only thing I do not like is that it is very low to the floor. If you were wanting to use it as a table, I would recommend using a riser underneath to lift it off the floor, even like to round cylinder outdoor tables that are maybe 20 inches tall would look cute and some plants underneath I do give it a five star rating and I highly recommend for purchase. The table is very nice , sturdy and easy to assemble. The fire feature works great and the adjustable flame height is fantastic.
