I've been waiting until I remodeled my shower to purchase a freestanding shower bench. My shower isn't huge so I needed something small enough to scale but tall enough for this lady with bad knees to sit comfortably, if needed. I assumed I would get a traditional teak bench, but when I saw this engineered stone, I quickly changed my mind. It's really a piece of art - and heavy duty enough not to inadvertently move when you sit on it. It's heavy, but not bulky and fits perfectly in my shower. Unobtrusive, yet pretty - or handsome as the case may be. Also versatile - could be used for extra seating (holds 300+ lbs) or a cocktail table or plant stand. This is really a nice little bench. It’s actually a nice looking bench with a storage shelf under the seat. There could be many uses indoors or out for this bench.
