Color is lovely, as pictured . Lightweight plastic, which is great for stacking and storing. However, there’s no drainage hole even though they come with a rubber stopper. They also don’t have anything like a built-in stopper, so I had to put bricks in mine to (1) weigh them down and (2) ensure my flowers don’t fall in. Good value for the price given the above.. Katie. I always read reviews before purchasing. I’m so glad I didn’t go with the ones saying the planter is orange which isn’t a bad thing as I was looking for brownish-orange planters which is their color! When using outdoors, before planting, invert the container and remove the rubber stopper. Store the rubber stopper in a safe place to use at the end of the growing season. Removing the stopper will allow water to properly drain from the Countryside planter. For additional soil aeration, add a soil amendment such as perlite, small stones, or clay pieces to the bottom—and up to 1/3—of the container.
