The fountain took a long time for delivery and when it came the pump was missing . Also the fountain had a lot of shading , therefore not looking like the picture above . For the price , it was rather deceiving. We received the pump later but asked to exchange the fountain . The exchange went smoothly and the new fountain looks better but still with some less apparent shading . We ordered early dec /19 and finally got the replacement fountain working end of jan..... An elegant basin, the “bird bath” style bowl on the top of the rock holds about an inch of water which gently cascades over the sides and back into the reservoir.

This is a beautiful water feature. We shopped around for a "rock or stone" style of fountain kit for awhile. At first we were looking for a real pillar rock fountain, with three pillars. We soon found out that we were looking at $1500.00 to $3000.00 for one with "real" rocks. That is more than we can afford at this time. Then we found this. We looked at several retailers on-line. We watched videos too. For $500.00 we are really happy with this kit. wayfair had the best price hands down. The rock doesn't look as "real" brand new right out of the box. Don't get me wrong, it looks good. However, once it gets rained on and weathered it does look real. The other benefit to this, other than being a complete kit, is the weight. At 40 pounds for the stone, it is super easy to install AND if we want to adjust the orientation of the stone we can easily rotate it to exactly the position that we want, any time we want to do it. The reservoir kit and pump look great. Everything is included. This fountain fits our needs EXACTLY. We recommend it and we'd buy one again. EDIT: September 2026. We just bought this fountain AGAIN! It really is a beautiful fountain. Our original fountain is still going strong, with the original pump. We live in the Pacific Northwest, so we have a little green moss growing on the sides. The sound it makes is terrific. The birds LOVE it! The first fountain was for our back yard. This new one is going to be in our front yard, as our front yard is getting a complete landscaping makeover. If you are on the fence about buying this fountain, all I can suggest is to just buy it! I love this Fountain however, about the plastic plug at the base of the bottom bowl tends to pop up and allow water to drain, my handyman was able to Jerry rig a system that holds the plug down so problem is solved but manufacturer should address. Ive been looking for a water fountain for quite some time. I wanted something that would provide conversation privacy from my neighbors, drown out some freeway noise, yet still sound tranquil. What I love about this fountain is the shape, size and overall modern style. Its a heavy solid piece, and it sounds wonderful with just the perfect amount of water flow. Wayfair Delivery was quick and amazing, and my contractor put it together in less than a hour. Everything is built-in, so once you get it centered and level, you just add water and plug it in. Simple, easy concept design! Its more textured than I expected, and unfortunately there are minor nicks all around the exterior and along the rim. This arrived yesterday. It came direct from the manufacturer in a large heavy duty cardboard box with an incredible amount of heavy paper packing material. The fountain is the large model and is exactly as described dimensions wise. Was easy to assemble although I had a nozzle type piece with no idea what to do with. Anyhow it works just like the picture with about a 2-3” high flow with the pump on high. The pump is very quiet and the water flow makes minimal noise. The pump has a swing vane on the inlet to control flow. The power cord is about 14 feet long. I bought it to attract hummingbirds but no luck yet. Very happy with this fountain and recommend it.. Saw these in front of a house but different model and we were determined to have something similar for the front of our house. We purchased three in different sizes and had them installed. We adore this fountain. It came very well packaged and was in perfect condition when it arrived. We have it near a busy sidewalk and our bird feeders. We intentionally ordered a fountain that was low enough for dogs to be able to drink from it as well as our feathered friends. The birds adore it, and it has definitely increased the amount of birds we receive at the feeders. We hired a professional electrician to install it, and he said it was simple to do. We top it off every 5-6 days. I would say that the only negative is that the filter needs to be cleaned out more than we expected, about every 3-4 weeks to keep it operating at its best, but that is very quick and easy to do..
