Is this the thickest rug in the world? No. Is this one of those flimsy folded washable rugs that falls apart/shows every mark and are everywhere and is basically a glorified blanket? We dont have a rug pad under ours, but i would recommend one, as even though it looks thick for a flat rug, it could use some cushion.
