Every screw hole lined up perfectly. The directions are a little tricky to follow, but if you have any experience at all putting things together, you’ll be able to figure it out. This will work great in our new home. These high cabinets are about 96 inches up and the 1st shelf is about 105 inches up. I’m 5’4” and can reach the top. It’s sturdy and looks nice for an “indoor” ladder. The wood paint on the metal ladder looks great. I knocked off a star because it had a ding on one of the steps right out of the box.
