Although this is a very labor-intensive piece to make, the tops are completely handmade using reclaimed wood from antique doors. The legs are hand-distressed in antiqued colors. Each one is unique and will vary slightly. We have this reclaimed top old door bench in three distressed colors. The color refers only to the color of the legs.

legs appear to be slightly different lengths - was able to level with stick on pads - minor damage to the bottom side - not noticeable - the damage appears to have occurred during the packing and not the shipment. Bench is beautiful however came with multiple problems. Sent with 1 screw missing, and 4 wrong long screws. When I tried screwing them in they pushed out the fabric and nailhead. Had to hurry and unscrew to make fabric go back in place. Had a dirty fork looking spot on side, legs had white residue all over them. What a headache!! If it wasn’t so beautiful I would of sent back but everything worked out with some TLC. The dirty spot wiped off, I used brown shoe polish on the legs which hid the white spots on legs. Wayfair sent me the right screws for the legs and the spot that pushed out went in mostly. It just has 1 nailhead that is a little pushed out so I turned that side to the back. This beautiful Old world style rustic bench feature rich stained solid seesham wood with hand forged metalwork details. Turned legs and corner details finish this unique piece made from solid seesham wood.

Very nice quality solid wood. No instructions included which is OK as it's straight-forward, however, the black brackets that go around the edges need to be put in position before you put the bolts in to hold them in place, and they do not look as the photo shows it. Expect the brackets to be slanted because the spacing between the bolts is not measured to fit those black bracket trim pieces perfectly. Also, the nails that come with it for the cosmetic brackets are very flimsy and will break. You must pre-drill holes for them otherwise they will break. We broke most of ours but don't care as it's only cosmetic and this is a rustic bench. Still though, instructions, properly measured bolts holes that will have enough gap for the decorative brackets, and solid nails that don't break, would have made this bench perfect.. Salim.
