Steelcase Tb117

The Steelcase series 2 chair has technology featuring an innovative geometric design that flexes in two dimensions, supporting each part of your spine for responsive, personalized comfort and fit. The tilt mechanism is synchronized; the seat and back work in harmony with each other, keeping the body securely supported in the chair and feet firmly planted on the floor so you can recline without leaving your optimal zone for seeing and reaching your work. This model includes an adjustable seat depth, fully adjustable arms (raise up and down, pivot in and out, shift forward and back, and side to side), adjustable headrest, adjustable lumbar, pneumatic seat height adjustment, recline tension adjustment, flexing back with mesh upholstery, and upholstered seat. The seat features strong yet pliable foam which conforms to the body and creates pressure-free comfort. The flexible seat edge offers a bit of bend, right where you need it – relieving pressure points under your thighs. This chair will arrive unassembled and require some assembly covered by Steelcase warranty.

The Amia chair has a secret. Beneath the Amia chair's upholstery, inside its sleek backrest, there's a unique comfort system called live lumbar™ technology. You may not see it, but you'll certainly feel it. As you sit in the chair an adjustable live lumbar™ zone flexes with your every move for consistent ergonomic support for your lower back, hour after hour, day after day. The Amia chair was designed by Steelcase in collaboration with industrial designer, Thomas Overthin of IDEO.

I LOVE my navy and silver task chair. The upholstery is perfect; very smooth for my sensitive skin. I cannot believe how lucky I am to have this ergonomic task chair with all the bells and whistles that work so easily. The lumbar feels so good on my back. The arms are so flexible to move any which way I need them to. The casters are perfect for my hardwood floor; I can flip from one area of my desk to the other freely. It was so easy to take the well-protected chair out of the packaging. It is a fantastic buy. The entire experience was exceptional and I am thrilled. Thank you Wayfair for selling Steelcase and thank you Steelcase for still being the #1 manufacturer of task chairs after all these many years! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!. Carolishca. Lake Worth, FL. The Karman line is where the earth’s atmosphere meets space, weightlessness becomes possible, and going beyond becomes a reality. That spirit and feeling are captured in Steelcase Karman, beyond comfort. Steelcase Karman goes beyond other mesh chairs by delivering comfort in an entirely new way. When you sit in this chair, it follows you and moves with you, intuitively responding to your body while providing effortless comfort. Beyond mesh. Steelcase Karman's proprietary performance textile, intermix, creates the just-right support in the seat and back, for all shapes and sizes. Using patented shrink technology, an intermix exclusive weave creates ideal ergonomic support, so it doesn’t sag or feel stiff. It's a self-supporting textile with spring, rebound, and total stability. It distributes weight evenly over the seat and back, flexing to an individual’s movement and fitting the contours of their body.

Think® is a chair intelligent enough to understand how you sit and adjust yourself intuitively. It's thoughtful enough to measure and minimize, its lifelong impact on the environment. It's almost as if the chair could Think. Left to their own devices, an engineer, designer, and pair of environmentalists might each create a very different chair. Purchased this chair last year and it is holding up wonderfully with at least 9 hours daily use M-F. Pneumatics, cushion and support have been excellent.. Javier. Los Angeles, CA. Mon Aug 02 2021

This Gesture chair was designed by Steelcase to be confident, intentional, and highly evolved with simple sophistication. The design was meant to inspire confidence that it would deliver a great experience time and time again. The key design driver was to fundamentally rethink the chair based on the movement of the human body and the way we work today. Gesture won the Neocon Gold Award in 2013.

Very happy with the colors I chose. Quality of material is high. It arrived pre-assembled in a giant box. It was well wrapped and there's not a nick or scratch on the chair. Since working from home I burnt through a $400 chair in 2.5 years. I decided to make the investment in a higher quality chair. So far when I sit in it my sciatica goes away and my body is just immediately comfortable. I'm only 5'3" and my feet can actually firmly be on the ground. Very happy that I went with the Gesture. It adjusts to fit my height and the arm rests come in closer. I think this chair would still be great for average height people, but it's adjustable so that it works for smaller builds too.. Sg. USA. The gold standard in office seating, the chair redefines the concept of traditional task chairs.

I spend a lot of time on my computer editing photographs and this chair is a comfy, good posture reminder. Only negative is that the "freedom component" for the backrest doesn't work for me (pushes against me) as I am a 125 lb. weakling. Hahah. I think if you're a much larger framed and jacked person it may work for you.... Marianne. Sun Feb 12 2023
