Steelcase Chair Tb117

The Steelcase series 2 chair has technology featuring an innovative geometric design that flexes in two dimensions, supporting each part of your spine for responsive, personalized comfort and fit. The tilt mechanism is synchronized; the seat and back work in harmony with each other, keeping the body securely supported in the chair and feet firmly planted on the floor so you can recline without leaving your optimal zone for seeing and reaching your work. This model includes an adjustable seat depth, fully adjustable arms (raise up and down, pivot in and out, shift forward and back, and side to side), pneumatic seat height adjustment, recline tension adjustment, flexing plastic mesh back, and upholstered seat. The seat features strong yet pliable foam which conforms to the body and creates pressure-free comfort. The flexible seat edge offers a bit of bend, right where you need it – relieving pressure points under your thighs. This chair will arrive unassembled and require some assembly covered by the Steelcase warranty.

Chair is very high quality, it has a very solid feel and is really well made. Assembly took less than a minute and required no tools. Lots of seat adjustments and overall a great purchase. The only thing I'm not exactly crazy about is that the seat cushion is pretty hard and can get uncomfortable after a while. Overall I don't regret the purchase. Great chair.. Matt. Aurora, IL. The Amia chair has a secret. Beneath the Amia chair's upholstery, inside its sleek backrest, there's a unique comfort system called live lumbar™ technology. You may not see it, but you'll certainly feel it. As you sit in the chair an adjustable live lumbar™ zone flexes with your every move for consistent ergonomic support for your lower back, hour after hour, day after day. The Amia chair was designed by Steelcase in collaboration with industrial designer, Thomas Overthin of IDEO.

I LOVE my navy and silver task chair. The upholstery is perfect; very smooth for my sensitive skin. I cannot believe how lucky I am to have this ergonomic task chair with all the bells and whistles that work so easily. The lumbar feels so good on my back. The arms are so flexible to move any which way I need them to. The casters are perfect for my hardwood floor; I can flip from one area of my desk to the other freely. It was so easy to take the well-protected chair out of the packaging. It is a fantastic buy. The entire experience was exceptional and I am thrilled. Thank you Wayfair for selling Steelcase and thank you Steelcase for still being the #1 manufacturer of task chairs after all these many years! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!. Carolishca. Lake Worth, FL. This chair was fabulously expensive, and I was unsure of making the investment. I’ve now had the chair a week, and I understand the reason why this chair gets so many great reviews. The materials and design are solid and packed with adjustments. The leather was pricey, but absolutely beautiful. I am thrilled with my Leap chair, and I would definitely recommend it.. Robert. This Gesture chair was designed by Steelcase to be confident, intentional, and highly evolved with simple sophistication. The design was meant to inspire confidence that it would deliver a great experience time and time again. The key design driver was to fundamentally rethink the chair based on the movement of the human body and the way we work today. Gesture won the Neocon Gold Award in 2013.

Very happy with the colors I chose. Quality of material is high. It arrived pre-assembled in a giant box. It was well wrapped and there's not a nick or scratch on the chair. Since working from home I burnt through a $400 chair in 2.5 years. I decided to make the investment in a higher quality chair. So far when I sit in it my sciatica goes away and my body is just immediately comfortable. I'm only 5'3" and my feet can actually firmly be on the ground. Very happy that I went with the Gesture. It adjusts to fit my height and the arm rests come in closer. I think this chair would still be great for average height people, but it's adjustable so that it works for smaller builds too.. Sg. USA. This is worth every penny. It is solid and sturdy. It was easy to assemble, but I did have help to hold things in place while I screwed in the bolts. It is definitely made for bigger people! Im a 59 curvy lady at 230lbs and this chair makes me feel little! If an office chair could be described as roomy this one would be. It is exactly what I needed and wanted. Note Avoid if you are any shorter than 59, as my feet are flat on the ground when the chair is at its lowest height setting. I love it, but anyone shorter than me may not appreciate it.. Sally. This manager at the office loves the chair. Very comfy and looks nice. The customizable features are wonderful. Order process was great! FedEx failed as usual with a 6 day delay, probably due to COVID-19. Nonetheless, the chair assembled easy and it is amazing indeed. Helps to reduce if not eliminate back fatigue. Fully adjustable and extremely good construction.. John. New Orleans, LA. Sat May 09 2020

Promote good posture and maximize comfort while you make your way through the workday with this task chair. It features a five-star base complete with rolling casters to help make mobility a cinch. Both the seat and arms are adjustable so you can find the right height for you. And with a breathable mesh back construction, a contoured seat, and waterfall front, it helps make long hours at the office fly by.

Overall it is a decent chair, comfortable and a lot of other adjustments beside the one I hoped for. A few things I don't like is the back does not adjust up and down and when you sit down it makes a weird thud noise like the shock inside isn't greased or something.. Dorothy. Oxford, MS. Thu Jun 15 2017

It is a contemporary, decor-friendly, adjustable office chair with lumbar support. And while we can all agree that’s important, they are in fact, superficial basics that everyone has, and not true ergo-enhancements. And if you work, study, or game long hours it’s just not enough comfort, is it? 2D adjustable headrest and seat for the ultimate custom fit our tilting headrest also adjusts to your height, while the seat slides up, and down. Our 5-point base with dual castors gives greater stability and strength over the common 4-point, single-castor chairs. And the other unique thing is we give you a free set of rollerblade wheels velvet smooth on hardwood floors. No, no sweating, sticking, or mesh marks! Forget about wire mesh chairs that leave grill marks on your body. Our smooth breathable mesh provides optimal airflow to avoid sweating and sticking.
