I am shocked and delighted!! I had no idea what to expect, but I made dinner in my Lekue Steam Cooker. I sliced a potatoe, added olive oil and seasoning and a splash of water. Then I precooked it for 4 minutes. Then I placed a 4 oz frozen salmon fillet on top of the potatoes. Seasoned it and put it back in the microwave for 4 minutes. I checked it at 2.5 minutes and it was already done. Salmon was cooked perfectly...moist, full of flavor and literally falling apart. The potatoes were beautifully cooked as well. This is my second one. My first one got so corroded from the very hard water here that I just couldn’t use it any longer. Was going to go with a less expensive one but you get what you pay for. The digital timer is great especially the “warm” setting. If the rest of my dinner isn’t ready I can leave the veggies keep warm in the steamer. However, the lid was cracked all around the knob.
