PERFECT! Bought this for the dining area and the size is excellent - a real conversation piece. The gold is very gold, but it isn't 'cheapy' looking. I matched this in an open plan area with two similar style hanging round lights and the look flows nicely. Put them all on dimmers and these really make the living area cosy and modern. I love these so much that I bought a smaller one and fitted it in the master bedroom as well, and I love them all. Not difficult to install, but the strands are a bit time-consuming to screw into an arm and then the arm into the base. Definitely DO NOT cut the ties from the strands until fully fitted!
