Constructed from 8mm tempered safety glass and rust-resistant stainless steel, it is built for durability. The handle also functions as a towel rack, adding convenience.

The glass is surprisingly thick and beautiful. The handles and tracks are sturdy and thick enough. It came unbroken (better than the toilet I ordered last month!) and the pieces are all here. I'm debating whether to tackle this myself or hire a handyman. But it looks beautiful and I'm afraid any issues will be my own installation mistakes from here on. Just put it up. Did it almost all myself, and as a first timer. Just needed my 13 year old to screw the wheels into the 2nd door while I held it up. Instructions suck of course, but I watched a couple videos by people putting in similar ones. Made a few minor mistakes along the way, but all were fixable. Ended up looking great, and fitting PERFECTLY. Just had to measure 5 times and cut... twice in some cases. But always started conservative. You DEFINITELY need a power cutting tool, not a hacksaw, on the top bar. I bought steel cutting discs for my grinder and even that took 3 batter charges. I tried a hacksaw for a few minutes and it hardly made a notch in it. That would take all week. Here's a tip...if any risk of missing the wood studs, add more wood in the wall before tiling. I hit studs luckily. And get a 1/4 diamond hole bit to drill through tile, dipping in water every few minutes. And watch a video how to get that started.. Robert. Fairfax, VA. Tue Aug 18 2026

Delta's got you covered from top to bottom, or bottom to top, giving you water anyway you need it, anywhere you need it. You'll find this handheld shower slide bar is the perfect complement to any bathroom. Slide bar hand shower mount for hands-free showering is not to be used as a grab bar.

I have been purchasing Delta products for 15 years now for installation into my customers bathroom remodels. I purchased this bar for my own personal bathroom and am very disappointed. Usually most Delta products were constructed of metal but this arm is not. It is plastic. I typically boast to customers about the quality of Delta products and about their guarantee. But I am not impressed with this particular piece and frankly disappointed in Delta for turning to plastic for the construction. It does not describe the material that it is made of in the description. It simply states that it is brass construction but I am not sure where. I have found that these types of fixtures tend to chip and peel the chrome finish over time. Sorry Delta I would not recommend this product.. Lisa. Sat Sep 16 2023
