Love the bed, sturdy and seems to be constructed well. I added the assembly and the two guys that showed up were very polite and courteous. They also got the job done in 2 hours. My only issue is when the guys (hired through Handyman) were putting it together some of the wood frame pieces were taped together. We love this bunk bed. It's made of a sturdy wood. It was not that bad to assemble. I took off 1 star because it was almost impossible to remove the drawers from the frame in order to screw the pieces down and together. we had to force the drawers out and it cracked the wood. Luckily, the crack doesn't show from view but we had to glue the wood to keep it together. otherwise we love this bed! wayfair customer service was great handling this issue. but contacting the actual company was unsuccessful. We purchased the blue bunks. The color is beautiful for our grandsons big boy room. My husband assembled the beds in 3- 3 12 hours. The parts were labeled and ready to go. Beautiful! I did pay for assembly and one person came and assembled it by himself but it took a couple hours and I had to help lift the top bunk up. It’s pretty sturdy. Very nice piece for the price. This was exactly what I was looking for! I have 2 boys (4 and 7). They love the stairs to get up and down and I love the storage. My 4 year old loves the hiding places on the side of the stairs. It feels very sturdy and I love that I can walk up the stairs with my sleeping 7 year old and safely put him in bed without hurting myself too.
