Overall it’s a beautiful dresser. However, the finish is of an uneven texture. Running my hand along the surface, the finish goes from silky smooth to rough, as though that side was not sanded properly prior to painting. It’s noticeable enough that I’ve opted to have a glass top made. One of the drawers has cracks on the bottom, necessitating drawer paper to camouflage. This furniture was incredibly easy to assemble thanks to comprehensive labeling of each part, and detailed illustrations for each step of the assembly process. Parts were easy to assemble and created a tight and sturdy finished product. Although a second pair of hands to stabilize the assembly process, was helpful, it was not essential, but don’t let my wife know that I said that about her “assistance”. I normally dont write reviews but I was compelled to express how impressed I was with this dresser. It is beautiful and sturdy. The packing of the dresser was excellent and everything in the box arrived in perfect condition. Assembly went very smoothly as all parts were clearly and correctly labeled and the instruction booklet was clear and complete.
