After assembly great looking desk. My 15 year old son assembled in about 2 hours. He took his time but had no difficulty. The desk was bought for him. There was small scratch/indention on top hutch. Our solid pine cottage series desk can be used as either a desk or a vanity. The solid wood turnings and drawer front treatment emphasize the quality. Drawers are constructed using real dovetail joints and wooden drawer runners.

This is nice and lightweight but still sturdy. I love that it is solid wood. You can assemble with drawers on whichever side you choose; it gives instructions for both ways. This desk is stunning. It was so easy to put together. The desktop came with the drawers built and installed and all we had to do was screw on the legs. I had to get furniture for 7 offices and 3 waiting rooms. I chose to spend much less on all desks - except this one. I am so glad I splurged.
