Stair Step Dresser

Husband and I liked the Halloran Armoire and finally got it delivered since the first one was damaged in transit. Never saw the first one. It arrived today FRIDAY 8423. My husband too it apart and managed to assemble it. When he put the top piece in its place it seemed to have cracked, unless it was cracked before. That is when some wood fell off from the back corner on the right side. Not a big chunk, but enough to make it split at the top and side corner. I will be cautious of buying “wood” pieces from them. This is not real wood, but merely MDF, and an inexpensive piece of furniture. We received a very small refund and was told to keep it. Now we will wait to find others parts crack and peel.
