Crafted from solid wood with a non-slip surface, it safely supports up to 220 lbs and is specially designed for senior, injured, or small pets. It’s very well made with a very nice fabric. All I had to do was attach the legs, but I didn’t read the description properly because I thought it was 17 inches when it’s fully extended as a ramp but it’s 12 inches high when the ramp is extended and 17 inches when it’s in the ottoman position therefore I won’t be able to use it as a dog ramp but as an ottoman with the weight capacity it’s very nice.. Love this! We got a new bed frame that made the bed a little too high for me to get into and out of comfortably. I wanted something long, low, and sturdy vs. just a small step stool. This piece is ideal! It's sturdy and well-made, and I like the finish. Recommend.. Annette. Mountain Lakes, NJ. Sat Apr 11 2026

These Dog Steps are "Built for Your Pets but Designed for Your Home". These steps are very strong and stable and the beauty of the solid red oak complements any room décor. Your pets will have the access you want them to have while putting less strain on you and your pets. The Raised Panel Steps will look great for years and if a tread is ever damaged (some pets just can't help chewing on things) can replace the tread and completely refurbish your steps. These Solid Red Oak Steps will provide years of service for your pet and bring the warmth and feel that only real solid wood can provide into your home.

Do not let the price scare you. These steps are very heavy duty and attractive, better than any others I have seen. I have the 2, 3 and 4 step ones. They were used for years to make spots in my home more easily accessible for my senior cats. My sweet girls are gone now, but the steps are still in great shape. I will be keeping them in storage in case I have a future need.. Rhonda. TN. Wed Aug 12 2026

Does your furred friend have a tough time getting up to the top of your bed or couch for a good snuggle? Adding a pet staircase like this is a great option for helping them reach a place they can't quite leap to. Crafted in the USA from solid red oak, this staircase features carpeted steps perfect for making sure those paws don't slip. Panel accents on the sides and a deep neutral stain lend this piece a traditional look.

I bought these stairs for my 20 lb cat who has arthritis and has pain jumping down from the bed. I originally looked at stairs made specifically for cats, but they didn’t seem sturdy enough to support him. These stairs are sturdy, well made, and have held up great. The carpet has also held up really well. My cat uses them every single time he gets off the bed. I would definitely recommend these for anyone with a larger cat (or small dog).. Jessica. USA. I really needed a boost up to get onto my porch swing! The reason being that my balcony is on the second floor overlooking a lake. But, I’m short so I needed to raise the swing high enough to see the view, but then couldn’t climb onto the swing! Funny situation. I saw these steps and knew they would be perfect and they are. They are sturdy enough for confidence, and cute, too. Bonus, my dachshund uses them as well, to get onto the swing with me!. Kathleen. Nashville, TN. Tue Aug 25 2026

Did you know that letting your pets climb up to and down a bed or couch can hurt their joints and knees? This is especially true for older pets or pets that have mobility issues. Allowing your pets to use dog steps for high beds might be an excellent solution. Pet steps allow your pets to reach cars, other vehicles, and furniture more efficiently. What makes these pet stairs better than others is their ample inner space for storage when you remove the cover of the top step.

I love these stairs! I have a cat (and I will be getting a Beagle soon too). These steps are built well, easy to assemble AND they hold the toys and small blanket that these pets will be using. I love how strong they are and how nice they look.. Judi. CA. Sat Jul 11 2026

Works great! Most pet steps are not built for long dogs (dachshunds). These work great for her to get onto the couch and it folds up to an ottoman or seat when needed. The carpet on the steps is just stapled down so that looks a little cheap. But I would most definitely still buy it again. Sue. US. Tue Sep 22 2026
