This unit is convertible, can be vented out of your dwelling, or recirculated (ductless) with charcoal filters (sold separately, part # WRHF005S2).

Very nice hood for the price. Gives off a good amount of light but is a little loud at highest fan setting. The range hood came well packaged and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. As we were missing a few inches to the ceiling with the included chimney component, we ordered the longer version directly from the manufacturer. Including a picture of the range hood after install, and a second picture after painting. Our only issue with the product is that it “whistles” at its lower speeds and due to slightly inconsistent suction, the metal grills were vibrating against the lower horizontal frame. This hood is quiet, has four exhaust settings, a timer and two adjustable led lights. We needed it to vent out the wall and it was an easy job for our contractor. We have never purchased this brand but are impressed with the exhaust options and styles they offered. Love the look of the curved glass. Because of the glass, the canned ceiling light is able to go through the glass and illuminate my new COSMO 5 burner cook top we also purchased. This plus the LED lights on the COSMO range hood brighten my cooking area more so. My husband sauteed Brussel sprouts and he used the highest setting on the exhaust fan.
