It does more, I can get juice from ginger out of it also, so many dishes this has helped me with. I thank wayfair for having the foresight to include this in there products lists.. Patricia. Blomus Ondea bowl with burnt metal finish, made of stainless steel, gives a nod to the roots of Blomus with the benefits of stainless, but the renewed look of a burnt metal finish. Burnt metal is a modern stainless steel color that captivates with its different nuances and looks either golden or shimmering black, depending on the light. Ondea bowl can be layered with Ondea bowl for a stunning presentation.

Stylish and functional at the same time! I went with the larger size and contemplating buying the smaller, as well. most of the "metal" in my kitchen and living space is a soft brushed gold and I have matte black door hardware so I was unsure what to go with on the counter and this looks amazing! Be aware the large size is quite generous if using as a fruit bowl, which I have been doing- it accommodated up to 6 oranges, 2 lemons and 12 small size apples with room to spare.. Toni. Omaha, NE. An important utensil for pasta lovers, the colander is an indispensable ally in kitchen operations such as washing and cleaning fruits, vegetables, and other foods. Jasper Morrison offers us a minimal design drainer with many functional details that enhance its usability.

Honestly I got this because I was assured it was made in Italy. Whilst it most certainly is not, it is still a great colander. I do love it, just wish it wasn't made in China and that I wasn't lied to about it when enquiring.. Lia. Washington, Dc. Sun Apr 07 2013

Still, instead, they evoke the spirit of Jewish ritual that connects tradition to the people and binds generations in the future. Our Suspension collection items are cast from solid brass and heavily plated with tarnish-resistant nickel plates. The gleaming, highly polished finish sparkles in the light and will not only be a beautiful decorative accessory but, more importantly, functional as well.

The first one sent had a dent in it because it’s shipped pretty carelessly and was shoved into a mailbox. The original also had the topside smooth and the underside a design. The replacement is the opposite. Which I like better as from the photos, you can see fingerprints. Nice platter, will use.. Veronica. Charlotte, NC. Fri Feb 06 2026

The Dry collection was Alessi's only model of cutlery. Despite the grim prospects forwarded by those in the sector, the collection proves that its innovative shape and resolute style, along with extreme manageability and an excellent finish, can weather the storm. Over the years, the Dry model has opened up the road for us and various other cutlery sets, though it has always remained well up among the leaders.
