Very study stoneware plates and bowls. Simple and beautiful design that can be used for normal everyday use as well as dressed up for formal dining. The polished rims really look nice in person and dress up the dish set. Love the “lip” around the edge - allowing better management of the food on the plate from the edge. Simple, robust but elegant. I'll combine these with more decorated plates. I have not used them so no idea if silverware will leave scratches -but then, with a mat finish that is always the risk.
