I love this four drawer cabinet situation. It certainly is a space saver and holds a good amount of things. I had a bit of an issue assembling it, but once I realized the first tier, the rest became much more easy to assemble (the instructional pictures were clear, I just did not understand them at first). The drawers are pretty deep, and that is good. A caveat however, is that I thought the drawers would be taller than they are because the design is so slim, but that is not the case. This bookcase is just as described - but better. Very attractive, retro and sturdy. Three tiers of three cubes allows for LOTS of decor options as well as storage. The nine cubes are in a vintage whitewash. The top, this is a game changer, as it is a beveled brown wood that gives luxury to the entire piece. The decorative bottom form prevents this from looking cheap. The measurements are spot on. This lovely Bookcase came un-assembled, of course. The directions were excellent. Every single screw hole lined up perfectly. I appreciate that the back of the bookcase has a panel and not just open! The back screw-down anchors definitely make a difference in the sturdiness of the overall piece. Assembly took about an hour - for UNHANDY ME, by myself. After assembly, I was able to carry this from room to room by myself without much difficulty. I love that I can purchase storage cubes that fit into the squares of the bookcase. These are just what I needed! They put together pretty well. I would recommend using wood glue for the pegs that hold the shelves on, just to make it a little sturdier.
