First, the Good the chair looks great and is a fantastic option for a small room. The bottom cushion is soft and supports me at a 200 pounds. I love the fold out side table on the right. The mechanism is solid and very stable. It’s easy to put together, and is solidly built. The not so good it’s small. It does not sit that high off the ground so make sure you look at the measurements before purchasing. I am 6’2” and my knees bend up as the seat is lower than a traditional chair. Also, I’ve tried my best to love it as it does look good in the space, but it’s just not a comfortable chair. The back does not have a lot of padding and is very stiff. The armrest are more narrow than my wrist so you can’t put anything on it. I think if this is a chair to put in a small space, and will not be used often, then this is a perfect buy. I purchased this to match one that I currently have that I bought locally 2 years ago, but could no longer find locally b/c it was discontinued. There were 3 color options in the store I purchased from. Just know that this will not match the color in photo. It is beautiful, but it is a solid, flat, dark brown and is not pictured. No marbling of color as the picture indicates and sadly the one I already had was closer to the one in the pic. The chair is attractive and comfortable, but it was not manufactured with care. One of the back brackets was not attached at the correct angle, so the chair back would not go down all the way. But luckily, my handyman was able to remove and reposition it. Also, the stitching on one side is crooked and doesn't cover the staples as it should.
