Squirrels usually have several places that they build nests. When danger approaches, the squirrels can go from one nest to another. Best if hung in a tree or placed near the tree.

The sparrow flat has three appartments as sparrows like to live together. As well as sparrows, you can expect the tree sparrow, bleu tit or great tit to visit the flat. The best place to hang the flat is quiet, sheltered spot. During winter, the nesting box is often used as a sheltering and sleeping spot.
