This bird feederbirdhouse pole has a lot of nice features and gives us plenty of options for how we want to use it. I especially like the two shepherd’s hooks, which can be used for bird feeders, hanging flowers, or other outdoor decorations, and we plan to add a birdhouse at the top as well. We did not install the squirrel baffle because we don’t think we’ll need it in our setup, but it’s nice to have the option to add it later.
Assembly was fairly straightforward overall, but we did run into an issue with one section of the pole. The threading did not want to connect properly, so we had to take part of it back apart and rearrange the sections to see if it would thread better with a different piece. That helped, but there is still a small gap where some of the threading remains visible and the two sections don’t meet quite as cleanly as they should. That is the reason I’m taking off one star.
Otherwise, the pole seems sturdy and looks very nice once installed. We’re planning to plant flowers around the base and add feeders and a birdhouse, so I think it will make a really attractive and functional addition to our yard once everything is in place.. Pamela.
