This is a nice lamp. It appears high quality. Its very big. The base is about 10 inches wide at its thickest. The candle in the photo is 8 ounces and the tumbler is 16 ounces. The measurements are correct. I probably would have been happy with something a little bit smaller but Ill get used to it. It's nice, but is considerably larger than I thought it would be. Fortunately the table I wanted to put it on accommodates it just fine. Also, I am not sure I think it is as pretty as the picture is. But, eh, it's fine. My main thing with it is that the shade is not as oatmeal colored as it is in the picture. It's kinda darker as it has some dark, maybe blackish, thread woven into it.
