Me and my husband put the bed together and we got it done in about an hour. Once together we realized that we needed a little more support for our foam mattress because the metal slats were not wide and had to much space between them to give good support. We just put the cardboard the frame came in on top of the frame and it worked great. The frame is very sturdy and i needed that support being over 200 lbs. This frame has worked out well for me. It's easy to assemble, and feels very sturdy. My only comment, and reason for 4 stars is the fact that there are two outward facing screws on each side of the bed that are silver, so very visible if there's nothing covering the bedframe.
