Yes, you really DO need this! Now that I have this, I can't imagine ever being without it! I have looked at and wanted a bidet for years and finally picked this one. We can't replace our toilet, and you don't need to, this Bidet Seat has EVERYTHING and works with your elongated toilet. It was a 3-minute install, so very easy to get it set up and running. We also do not have an outlet in the toilet room itself, but we ran a (3-prong) extension cord along the wall and plugged it into the closest outlet. We attached the cord with self-stick cord guides, and to me, it's worth seeing the cord along the floor. Ok, here's all the fun stuff, the LED lights can be changed or turned off. They are fun and double as a nightlight. What I really love is all of the sprayer options. You can change the water temperature, nozzle position, water pressure, front or rear sprayer, and the handheld sprayer along the side is great for cleaning the toilet. The seat opens and closes automatically when you walk up to it. I turned this feature off and just press a button on the remote to open and close. There is a dryer that also has temperature and air speed options. All of this can be turned on or off or adjusted with a touch of a button on the remote. There is a self-flush kit that is an option and the remote is set up for that. I didn't know about this or buy this, but decided I don't really need that. This is really truly amazing, the level of hygiene I have now makes this worth every single penny. I honestly can't imagine being without this. We mounted the remote on the wall (remote/wall hanger is included), and I just leave it there and push buttons. There is no extra spray, no leaking, no delays, everything works perfectly. Lastly, when unboxing, I noticed the seat opening looked slightly smaller than the toilet seat we were removing but, do not be alarmed because it is not noticeable at all when using, and I believe this is necessary for the water to stay inside. We love the look of this Smart Toilet. It has only been installed a few days, but everything seems to work as promised. This is a very nice modern toilet. It is the second Crestle modern toilet I purchased. the first one (model 2308k) had a narrower seat in the front and is one of the reasons I bought this one. On installation, I see others had problems. However, it is relatively easy if you first remove the bidet cover. There are two plastic covers over the 2 screws on the front of the bidet cover that have to be removed. Unfortunately, the instructions that come with this model don't explain this, as well as don't show bolting the toilet base down. which you have to like all toilets. Interestingly, the other model has clear instructions on how to do this. The other mistake in the instructions both toilets have is on the battery backup. You do not have to disconnect the power line and reconnect to the battery line to do this as shown in the instructions. Just put in a 9-volt battery in the battery holder. Probably good to replace it every year or two to be on the safe side if you ever lose power. Like another reviewer said you need to purchase the foaming agent separately.. Dan. Tomball, TX. I am really impressed with the Sanoxis Smart with Auto/Close Lid Toilet. Installation was surprisingly easy and straightforward, which was a big plus. The auto open/close lid, heated seat, warm wash and dryer, and automatic flush make it very convenient and comfortable to use. The tankless design gives it a sleek, modern look, and the remote control makes adjusting the settings simple. The deodorizer is another nice feature, and the soft-close lid works well. My only reason for giving it four stars instead of five is that it taking a little time to get familiar with all the features and settings. it works as advertised. it was easy to install, but only becaues i've installed another bidet before. the instructions are not very detailed, and the rubber gaskets do not come pre-installed for all pieces. You need to double check which way they're facing prior to installing, and the instructions do not mention this at all. It is also very flimsy, despite water going through it. The first seat that I received had a problem with a constant leak from the drying outlet, just beside the nozzle. It leaked into the toilet whenever it was plugged in. I called the service at Wayfair, and they emailed me a Fedex return label within a few minutes, and shipped a new bidet seat. I installed the new on and the same thing happened!! I was so disappointed. I contacted the manufacturer at the email address on the box, and received a reply within 24 hours. A nice lady called Lisa asked me to send pictures and videos showing the problem, as well as a proof of purchase, which I did. She then wrote back with a solution and video instructions on how to fix the problem. I had to disassemble de device and move the float inside which was probably stuck. She assured me that any tinkering of that sort would not void the warranty. So I tried and it worked!! I now have a bidet seat in perfect working order. I give 5 stars for the excellent service at Wayfair and also at Empava!
