Square Glass Food Storage Containers

This food storage container set upholds durability and versatility. With the added convenience of being freezer-safe, microwaveable, oven-safe, and dishwasher-safe, it is ideal for anything from storing dry goods to meal prep.

Bought these and another set of glass storage jar food containers to replace all the plastic food storage containers that go in the fridge and freezer. (All but the two plastic sandwich containers you see in the photos. Those are so my kid can take a sandwich to school for lunch and not have the weight of the glass container weighing down an already heavy backpack...) I prefer glass storage containers as they can not only handle the fridge and freezer well, but the microwave, too. This way, by having everything glass, I don't have to worry about people in the family forgetting that plastic containers should NOT be used in the microwave for reheating food! The lids snap on pretty easily. Sometimes when I snap on a lid, they won't click on one side, but if I unsnap it, rotate it 45 degrees and try to click it closed again, it goes on without a problem. This really isn't a big deal though I know someone posted about that for one of these sets. I keep these and the others with their respective lids attached to their bottoms so I don't have to play "match-up" later. A few of the containers between the two sets look similar so it might be easy to mistake a lid for one for the other. I try to make sure all the moisture is gone from in-between the lids and their rubber seals so when closed in the cupboard, they don't build up condensation. I haven't used them in the regular oven, but they suit our needs and this particular set comes with enough different sizes to cover all the food prep and leftover basics.. Melissa. These round glass canisters are the clean, transparent way to store and organize dry food, including pasta, sugar, rice, oats, beans, nuts and flour. This set includes canisters in 3 sizes, so you’ll always have the size you need to store foods, in small or large portions. The glass lid with a silicone gasket seals tight to keep food fresh but opens easily. They’re also great for non-food storage and household essentials. The durable Pyrex® glass cleans easily in the dishwasher, use after use. And they’re crafted from high quality glass that’s lightweight, making them perfect for storing food.

Pyrex is a household favorite and we were excited to see they’ve expanded into dry food storage. These glass canisters come in a good variety of sizes and store food safely. They wash well, but they are glass, so definitely more delicate than your typical plastic containers. The lids seal securely but aren’t necessarily what I would consider “spill-proof” so something to keep in mind if you regularly cookbake with children.. Hannah. Fargo, ND. Sat Jul 04 2026
