The lamp looks exactly As pictured and assembles in 5 minutes. The marble base is nice and hefty so this things not tipping over anytime soon. I was also impressed with the quality of the metal in the three shades. Its nicely polished and has good thickness so it doesnt feel flimsy or prone to bending or dents. You can position the three lamps independently, but note that they dont light independently. Its on or off for all three at the same time, which is not a problem for me.
