These work great and I prefer the telescoping ‘shade’ in the lowest position because the light beam is better hidden behind my plants. I wish the timer would be set in a 5 hours on, 21 hours of perpetual timer it only stays set for 24 hours, so 2 cycles. But I appreciate not having to worry about turning it off at least.. Stephanie. I’m giving it 4.5/5 stars because I feel like it’s not very sturdy. The material is cheap and flimsy and that’s the only negative thing I have to say about this lamp. Aesthetically, it’s everything I wanted and it is exactly as advertised with the exception of the height. This lamp with its legs out, fully extended to its absolute max height is 68”, not 60”, which in my opinion, is even better because I wanted this statement piece to stand tall. I needed a light for my kitchen work area because my overhead light had burned out. This light is the perfect height and arches all the way over my work area. The three temperature colors work fine and there are 10 settings for intensity. At some point I may add this to my smart home, but right now it works fine with the remote and the attached switching..
