The framework itself was beautiful when you opened it up. The only thing you had to do was attached to legs. As far as working it operates beautifully. We love it since the day we put it in we went with a 14 inch mattress on top of it because we wanted a little bit more cushion with the foam and it raised the bed up about 2 1/2 inches so it was easier for us at our age to slide out of bed instead of sitting up and standing up overall very good quality for the purchase. When all folded up and tucked away, this piece probably just looks like your classic cabinet – but expand it and you've got a bed that's ready to sleep guests in seconds! Measuring 25.7'' H x 64'' W x 80.3'' L and concealing a queen bed inside, it's perfect for spare bedrooms and dens alike. Plus, it lends traditional appeal to your ensemble with a solid wood and metal frame with 4 color options to choose from.

I was looking for an extra bed without the commitment of a full-time bedroom, and this Murphy bed fit the bill. It took about 2.5 hours to put together by myself. I referenced the assembly youtube to help get the actual visual process along the way. There were reviews about the mattress not being super comfortable (I would agree- functional, not what I would offer to a guest), so I purchased a memory topper for when it's being used. It is easy to transform to a bed. I did also make sure I had a rug to put under it, as someone commented that the one frame piece is not connected to the rest of the frame when in bed form and might move around. It is a quality piece of furniture, looks lovely in both forms, and has made my bonus room an extra space for guests.. Sarah. Forks, WA. Sat Nov 12 2022
