The main structure of this bench is made of solid wood and iron. The bottom is added with H-shaped support shelves to increase stability. We like the craft flowers on the backrest and the solid wood legs in the style of Roman columns. This makes this bench both practical and decorative.

Very satisfied with this little sofa. Looks super sleek and stylish. Love the wooden accents at the base. Assembly took right around 30 minutes, but the armrests were exceptionally tricky and annoying to slot in. Took a good 10 minutes just to get them perfectly seated. I love the modularity such that I can add more seating or an ottoman if I so choose. Deducting 1 star because I didn’t realize the wooden facade at the base didn’t wrap all the way around the sofa so the back looks pretty bare. The feet also did not come with felt or rubber pads so there’s risk that they’ll scratch the floor. The facade at the base is also not very well aligned despite following the instructions. This bench was a very pleasant surprise. I wanted the William Yeoward, Jonathan Charles bench but at $1,900 I decided I would 'settle' for the Emmalee bench instead. I was SHOCKED to see its gorgeous quality and that it is identical to the more expensive one. The color I got says "natural" but as you can see in my photos it is not that; instead it is a beautiful brownish gray, much dressier than a natural finish. The size is identical to the more expensive one, and the construction is substantial, sturdy and very high quality. The cane seating is thick and sturdy. Perfect! This chair worked out for us so well I bought a 2nd. I tried out a similar looking chair in the furniture store that was about 2000. The 2k chair was definitely more cushy comfortable but the look is the same. This chair is a little firm but is wide , deep and back support high enough to be comfortable. The assembly wasnt as easy as some upholstery chairs Ive purchased but it wasnt complicated. I ended up turning the chair over and putting part of it on my sofa to attach the back.
