Dresser is great and was easy to put together all by myself. It did take a little longer than the 30 minutes the instructions said but probably could have been done if I had a second person. The color is perfect, although the wood grain is painted on rather than real wood and some color rubbed off when I removed a scuff that was on the front of a drawer when I unboxed it. I bought both the 7 drawer and the 4 drawer dressers from this set and the 7 drawer dresser was much easier to assemble. This chest is cute and looks great once assembled, but putting it together was definitely more difficult and time-consuming than expected. My biggest complaint is the drawer system. For safety, it only allows one drawer to be open at a time, which sounds nice in theory but is frustrating in everyday use. The drawers are very picky—you have to push a drawer completely closed, often with more force than should be necessary, before another drawer will open. If it’s even slightly out of place, the other drawers lock up. After using it for a while, this feature has become more annoying than helpful. Overall, it looks nice and serves its purpose, but the assembly process and finicky drawer mechanism keep me from giving it a higher rating.. Anonymous. Wed Jun 17 2026
